99 Hanover Street bar & restaurant in Edinburgh has been trading very successfully for a year now since being radically refurbished.
GLM helped clients Brown & Taylor and Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises on the A-Listed New Town property. The refurbishment design aims to retain the bar's individual character and atmosphere whilst upgrading the facilities to expand the restaurant side for future opening during the daytime. Listed Building Consent was granted to alter the listed shopfront to open up views into the bar from Hanover Street. The contractor was Dimension Shopfitting.
