The present brick built lochside cottage on this highland estate does not deserve to be located in such a dramatic landscape.
GLM were brought in to design a replacement that would take maximum advantage of the situation. With 3D CAD we have vividly explored some initial ideas. The asymmetrical form respects the vernacular and the choice of materials is a response to the setting with the size and position of openings maximising the views of the dramatic vistas.
