Wings Over Morningside

Apart from some final decoration, this contemporary extension project in Morningside, Edinburgh, is complete. The client is delighted with the space we have created for them and have moved back in at the earliest opportunity. Located on the heavily shadowed north side of the house, the extension is suprisingly bright thanks to the clerestorey high level windows that capture sunlight in the morning and afternoon. The gullwing roof was not designed on a whim but as a means of efficiently avoiding all of the existing windows to the rear of the main building.
