Cargilfield School
GLM have been appointed by the Board of Governors of Scotland's first Prep School, Cargilfield, to advise on a programme of external improvements and repairs to the School campus, to be executed over a number of years.
Underlining the School's commitment to continually invest in their current outstanding facilities and following completion of an initial phase of external repairs and redecoration during the 2008 summer recess, GLM have also been commissioned by the Board to Project Manage the construction of a new classroom building, which will expand the School’s existing accommodation further, to provide 3 new maths classes.
Cargilfield is a small, friendly Prep School for boys and girls from the age of 3 to 13 years, situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh by the lovely village of Cramond and near Edinburgh airport, with easy access also over the Forth Road Bridge. 300 children are educated at Scotland's oldest Prep School, which was founded in 1873, now combining the traditional ethos with the best of modern educational practice and facilities.
