Cawdor Castle

Work on the roofs of Cawdor Castle were completed at the end of December 2008. This project involved the replacement of all the roof coverings - stone slates, leadwork and associated stonework repairs. The original junctions have been improved with concealed lead soakers, stainless steel lathing and lime mortar fillets. It has been a great honour to be associated with such a fascinating and renowned building. The technical challenges have been considerable but the end result is excellent.

This project was partly funded by grant aid from Historic Scotland.
